SOFTCLIQ builds the software, sends the messages, hosts the servers and secures the network — so you deal with one team instead of five vendors who blame each other.
Technologies and platforms we build on: Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL, MongoDB, IBM DB2, Cisco, Fortinet, cPanel, Let's Encrypt, Asterisk.
What we do
Most clients start with one of these and end up using three. Because it is all one team, the pieces are built to fit each other rather than to be integrated later.

Read moreWhy one address
When the application, the SMS gateway, the server and the network belong to four different suppliers, an outage becomes an argument. We hold all four, so a problem has one owner and one phone number.
How an engagement runs
Five stages, in this order, every time. Each one ends with something written down that you can read, question and keep.
We ask about the process before the technology. What breaks today, who it affects, and what "fixed" would look like.
Deliverables, timeline and price in writing, with the assumptions stated. If the scope changes later, we both know what changed.
Short cycles with something to look at each time. Security and testing run alongside the build rather than after it.
Go-live with a rollback plan, plus documentation and training so your team can operate what we built.
Monitoring, updates and a route to an engineer who already knows your system.
Selected work
An in-house bulk SMS and voice platform with sender IDs, scheduling, delivery reports and a public API.
Admissions, fees, results and parent SMS notifications in a single web application.
A self-service portal for registering domains, buying hosting and managing renewals and DNS.
In their words
We asked for a fee and results system and got something our staff learned in a morning. The SMS notifications alone removed a week of phone calls each term.
The network design was documented before anything was bought, so we knew exactly what we were paying for. Two years on, the diagrams still match the racks.
They built our API integration in the timeline they quoted, then stayed on to support it. Being able to reach an engineer who knows our system is worth more than the build.
Insights
Smartphone numbers look impressive in a pitch deck. USSD is what reaches everyone else.
ReadMost breaches are not sophisticated. They walk through doors that were left open, and closing them costs very little.
ReadDelivery is not the goal. Being read, understood and acted on is the goal — and that is a writing problem more than a technical one.
