Terms of service
The terms that apply to this website and to work we carry out for you. Last updated August 2026.
Using this website
You may read, print and share pages of this site. You may not scrape it at volume, misrepresent it as your own, or use it to distribute anything unlawful.
Information on the site
Descriptions of services are written to be accurate but are not a contractual offer. What we will actually deliver, at what price and by when, is set out in a written proposal signed by both sides.
Quotations and proposals
Quotations are valid for 30 days unless stated otherwise, and are based on the scope described at the time. If the scope changes, the price and timeline are revisited in writing before further work continues.
Payment
Payment terms are set out in each proposal. Hosting, domain and messaging services are billed in advance for the period chosen; renewals are your responsibility to authorise, and we send reminders before expiry.
Intellectual property
On full payment, custom work built specifically for you becomes yours. Pre-existing components, libraries and platform tools remain ours or their respective owners', licensed to you for use in the delivered system. Site content, our logo and our name remain the property of SOFTCLIQ.
Support and availability
We target the availability stated in your service agreement. Planned maintenance is announced in advance. Where availability falls below an agreed level, the remedy set out in that agreement applies.
Your responsibilities
You are responsible for the accuracy of content you supply, for the lawful use of messaging services including obtaining consent from recipients, and for keeping account credentials secure.
Limitation of liability
We are liable for direct loss caused by our negligence, up to the fees paid for the affected service in the preceding twelve months. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost profit or lost data, where that loss could have been avoided by backups we advised or provided.
Termination
Either side may end an ongoing service with 30 days' written notice. On termination we hand over your data in a usable format and delete our copies after the period stated in the privacy policy.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Ghana, and disputes fall to the courts of Ghana.
